EC Survivors - The Five Year Club

Almost all of the information you find about esophageal cancer presents a rather dismal picture when it comes to surviving the disease. This page was created to celebrate those who have passed the golden FIVE YEAR mark following their treatment.

Most of those on this list have truly beaten the beast. Several have survived past 5 years with recurrence and continue to do well. A few, unfortunately, are no longer with us.

If you are a five year EC Survivor, we want to show the world! Those diagnosed or treated more than five years ago are invited to publicly celebrate passing their personal five year milestone here on the EC Café! — Please send an e-mail to Marc with your name and year, along with the type of treatment you had and your staging, if possible.
